Frequently Asked Questions

Please text me if you have any question. 319-430-4623

Conrad’s Holland Lops is located between South English and Kinross, Iowa. Bunny pickups are at our home and our bunny barn is closed to the public for the health of our rabbits.  We do not ship our bunnies or work with pet transporters due to the stress this causes the bunnies and risk of the RHD rabbit virus.

Bunnies that are available and bunnies that will be available soon will be listed on our website. Please message me if you find one that you would like to reserve. I will send you a Venmo or PayPal link so that a deposit can be made.
Once I receive the deposit I will mark your bunny as Reserved. When the time comes for your bunny to go home, the remaining balance can be paid in cash at the time of pick up.  Bunnies not picked up within 5 days of their “ready to go” date, will be re-listed for sale. No refund on Deposit.

Yes.  Generally, spaying/neutering helps to reduce territorial behaviors, can prevent certain types of cancers, and may assist in litter training.

My best advice is to pick a bunny you like and plan on getting it spayed or neutered.

With PLENTY of daily interaction, most bunnies can live happy lives without another bunny present.  HOWEVER, I do believe that bunnies are happiest with another bunny friend.

Typically 4 lbs when fully grown.

  1. Place the litter box in the bunnies enclosure. Place rabbit safe bedding or horse bedding pellets in the litter box. Place some hay in the box, as bunnies poop where they eat.
  2. If the bunny urinates outside the box, wipe it with a paper towel if possible and place in the litter box.
  3. Don't clean the litter box completely for the first few weeks.  Start with 1/2 new litter and increase slowly until you are thoroughly cleaning the litter box after the bunny is using the litter box well.  Smelling the soiled litter when beginning litter training will help your bunny know where to go.
  4. Be open to moving the litter box to a different corner if your bunny changes his/her corner preference.
  5. Sweep up the poo balls daily and place these in the litter box.  Eventually, your bunny should get better at doing most #2 in the litter box, but don't expect perfection!  There WILL be scattered poop on your floor, but it's mostly dried and ranks quite low on the "gross scale" when it comes to poop.

No. Aside from the risks of the RHD rabbit virus and potential injury to my bunnies, I do not offer tours.
I have worked hard to provide a website with hundreds of photos and videos of my bunnies.  You are invited to watch these anytime.  :)
